About The Judge's Oath

The Judge's Oath (c) (TM), the first book in a series. It is a part memoir written in a first-person narrative, offering readers valuable insight and advice for navigating the often complex, and sometimes deceptive, realities of the legal system. The second book in the series is Buyer Beware. It provides tips and suggestions for court reform unique to buying real estate.

 

I have used the court many times as a busy person - a woman who was forced into a 3 1/2 year custody battle as soon as my baby was born, a business for 10 years called MedicalWorks with employees, and the owner of 7 homes. One should not be punished for using the court. I learned that using the small claims was efficient when busy. You file and get to speak to the legal department and generally the dispute settled.

I hold a master’s degree in computer engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a law degree from Concord Law School (part of Purdue University). My professional background is rooted in the tech industry, with earlier achievements that include securing four NIH SBIR grants to develop youth smoking cessation games through my company, I founded, MedicalWorks. Over the past decade, I’ve worked as a technical writer for leading companies.
