  • Ask that discovery be sent on a drive that the defendant can’t edit in the future. Do NOT accept evidence from an attorney’s One Drive or online.

  • ​Make sure you get your Proof of Service stamped separate from your other documents and always bring ALL documents to court. Have your Motion/Complaint, Affidavit, Proof of Service, and Evidence/Request for Judicial Notice all stamped separately.

  •  Never sign a real estate contract with a binding arbitration clause. You do not have to give up your right to appeal when buying a home.​​
