Brookings, Oregon

My neighbor in Oregon - a local realtor - has a light that lights up my lower property and main house. As a result, I had to install curtains to make my loft dark enough to sleep. I bought this house for the view, including star gazing, which Oregon is known for. The house has no garage and is only a one-bedroom home with a loft.

My outdoor deck on the lower property is lit up all night. Berg's light is installed over 16 feet high on their garage, which means it can't be blocked and is about 15 feet from my property line. They have also installed a camera at least 25 feet high on her garage, so they can watch me while I am on my own property 24/7. This time, I did put up my own cameras along the property line to document events as they occur after Berg's installed their camera that can see a panoramic view of my entire property.

When I am on my own land, I don't want my neighbor videotaping me 24/7 for her TikTok account.

Light beams from her light blast out because the light is not covered, a light that could easily be a motion light

There is no reason for such a light for the small section of their driveway 15 feet from my land. I attempted to block it using a 16 ft pole with blackout material, but the pole wasn't sturdy enough to handle the wind even though it did block some of her light. A large tree can't be used to block the light because that would block my other neighbor's view of the ocean, which a previous owner of my home was allegedly sued for. Notice how the tree to the left of the garage is chopped. The light is about a foot higher than where the trees are to be trimmed. Note: An entire group of neighbors down below from me have a mandate to keep their trees to 12 feet but do not, blocking my ocean view.

Light Difference: The difference between her light and my lights, is that my light is rarely on, faces the main road, not Tiffany's house, and is over 100 feet from her property. Her light faces my up-hill property - only 15 feet from the property line.

I will be updating the video below.
